Process & FAQ’s

1.

Inquiry + Booking

After getting in touch over email or by the contact form on my site, we’ll schedule a time to have an intro call where I can learn more about your project and we can see if we’d be a good fit to work together! If we decide to move forward, I’ll send you the invoice and contract to secure your date. :)

2.

Consultation Call

You and I will hop on a video chat to plan out your session! We'll discuss outfits, location, and you’ll share all the details about your branding and voice so I can best represent you in the final photos.

3.

Photoshoot day

It’s finally here! We’ll meet to do your photography session! It typically will last anywhere from 1-4 hours depending on the content we’re working to produce.

4.

Sample Gallery Delivery

After your photoshoot, I’ll go through all the photos and prepare a sample gallery for you to review in about 2 weeks.

5.

Choose Final Images

You’ll go through the sample gallery and make your final selects! Depending on the type of session you have, you will get a different number of images included.

6.

Final Gallery Delivery

For most galleries I will send you the final edited JPEGS in about 4-6 weeks after you make your final selects! If you’re in a crunch, we can discuss what expedited editing looks like.

  • I do not work out of a studio and I will help you find one! I recommend Peerspace to all my clients - it has an amazing assortment of vibes for locations and is very easy to book through. After we have our initial consultation where I learn more about your brand and voice, I can help you choose a location that is best suited to you!

  • My schedule is first come, first serve and tends to fill up fast. Once your photoshoot is over, I will get a sample gallery to you in approximately 2 weeks. From there, your final edited JPEGS will be ready for you in 4-6 weeks.

  • We’ll have an in depth consultation before your photoshoot so that I have a thorough understanding of you, your brand voice, your audience, and the story you’re telling. We’ll work together to create a mood board that suits your theme, find a location that is the right vibe, and discuss props and clothing choices to complete the set up!

  • It depends on the project scope and if you want just headshots, jacket covers, or additional imagery! The average investment for Author Photography is $1000-$1500.
