Everything about this shoot was unusual - from the night at the beginning of summer where we almost collided on bikes to the evening photoshoot that felt like the art I used to create when I was first getting into photography. Devan is one of those souls that you meet and feel comfortable from the first moment. Her three kittens let you hold them and she offers you every drink she has in the house - from a workout drink down to her entire Nespresso machine.
I’ve never met anyone who rebinds books and I was fascinated to learn more about the process of ripping off covers and how someone who looks like a fairy that belongs in the woods got into such a unique art form. Petals & Pages Co. is a space I’ll be watching closely for updates - from book recommendations to inspirational posts, Devan is such a lovely soul and I’m so honored I got to support such an amazing brand and that I got to spend so much time with her. :) Thank you for letting me into your fairytale, Devan!
